Group Admission
The Strong museum is an ideal destination for school groups, reunions, youth outings, day-care trips, summer camps, and bus tours. Every member in the group will enjoy a full day of hands-on fun and discovery. Please review the different group options below. PLEASE READ
- All group reservations are subject to availability, and must be reserved and fully paid two weeks in advance. Purchase orders are appreciated but full payment must still be made two weeks in advance of your visit. Unpaid orders will be cancelled.
- LUNCH ROOMS: Due to construction, the museum will NOT have lunch space for any groups until March 1, 2023. Groups that wish to eat lunch will need to make other arrangements. There are no spaces to eat outside on museum property. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Group Rate
- $17 per person (minimum of 20 paying guests)
- Additional $5 per person required to visit the butterfly garden.
- Not available on holidays and school-break weeks.
- Complete the Group Visit Request Form to submit a reservation request. Must pay two weeks in advance to receive this rate.
Youth Group Rate
The museum welcomes large groups of children and teens visiting from day-care centers, churches, summer camps, and other youth groups.
- $17 per child age 15 and under (minimum of 10 paying children).
- One free admission is included for an adult chaperon with every five paid children. Additional chaperons, who are not members, pay full general admission. Adult chaperons must be at least 16 years of age.
- Additional $5 per person required to visit the butterfly garden. All chaperons must also pay $5 to visit the butterfly garden.
- Not available on holidays and school-break weeks.
- Complete the Group Visit Request Form to submit a reservation request. Must pay two weeks in advance to receive this rate.
Field Trip Rate
Museum field trips provide dynamic opportunities for project-based learning and unique ways for teachers to connect to curriculum.
- $11 per student (minimum of 10 paying students).
- One free admission for an adult chaperon is included for every three paid students. Additional chaperons, who are not members, pay full general admission.
- Additional $5 per person to visit the butterfly garden. All chaperons must also pay $5 to visit the butterfly garden.
- Field trips are only available during the school year (September to June) and not on weekends, holidays, and school-break weeks.

School Lessons
The Strong offers a wide range of school lessons, provided by museum instructors, for students in pre-K through grade 6 amid dynamic, hands-on exhibits and world-renowned collections. Lesson pricing is included on the lesson description page.
