ROCHESTER, NY—Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Celebrate the beloved television show and its influence on play during Sesame Street Weekend at The Strong from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15. Explore Elmo’s World, wave hello to Big Bird in his window, take a picture on the famous Sesame Street stoop, and then enjoy themed activities throughout the museum.
“Sesame Street and Sesame Workshop have helped children learn and grow through creativity and play for more than five decades,” says Cathy DeBellis, assistant vice president for education and public programs at The Strong. “The Strong has long been proud to be the home of the Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street? exhibit. Our family friendly programming this weekend will highlight the influence of Sesame Street on children’s education.”
