All reservations must be submitted online at least two weeks in advance using the group visit request form. Space fills quickly, so early booking is recommended. After your request is added to our calendar, an invoice will be emailed to you. If you do not receive and invoice within five business days, please contact info@museumofplay.org. Check your spam folder!
For Field Trips and Youth Groups, the museum provides one free adult museum admission ticket for every five paid students/youths. The number of free adults you receive will be indicated on your invoice. Any additional adults beyond the free ones included with your group will pay $25 per person.
When filling out the group visit request form, be sure to include the total number of adults in your group. This includes teachers, aides, assistants, nurses, parent chaperones, social workers, etc. Do not include anyone that is buying their own ticket or using their membership.
Full payment or a purchase order is required two weeks before your visit.
A lunch period lasting 30 minutes can be reserved for your group if available. We will attempt to schedule your entire group in one lunch period. Large groups may need multiple lunch periods. Groups may bring a bagged lunch or order from the restaurants. We cannot refrigerate or reheat any lunches. Coolers can be brough into the museum.

Buses may use the drop-off lane on Adventure Place. Students should remain on the bus until instructed by museum staff. The museum parking garage has a maximum height limit of 8’ 2”.

The museum provides AED (automated external defibrillator) units at the main entrance, business entrance, ropes course, and by the second-floor family restrooms. Security staff, as well as select Guest Services staff, are trained in first aid and CPR.
Yes, these individuals should not be included on your reservation. They will check-in with their membership card. Children who are attending an educational lesson must still pay the lesson fee even if they have a membership.
