Meet Jean Davidson During
Hands-On Harley-Davidson Opening Weekend
January 21 & 22 at The Strong Museum
Join author Jean Davidson, granddaughter of Harley-Davidson co-founder Walter Davidson, during the Hands-On Harley-DavidsonTM Opening Weekend at The Strong on Saturday, January 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, January 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. Learn about Davidson’s series of children’s books, enjoy motorcycle activities, and explore the new Hands-On Harley-Davidson exhibit.
Meet Jean Davidson, receive her autograph, and learn about her series of illustrated books for children, including Riding Back in Time on My Daddy’s Harley-Davidson. Hear about her experiences growing up in the Harley-Davidson family and about meeting famous racers. Also, create a motorcycle craft and check out the preschooler cycle course.
Then hit the road with America’s most iconic and beloved motorcycle in the Hands-On Harley-Davidson™ exhibit. Explore a pretend engineering lab and motorcycle dealership, and use science, technology, engineering, and math concepts to dream up a bike design, build a prototype, and take it for a test drive.
All Hands-On Harley-DavidsonTM opening weekend activities are included with general museum admission fees. National tour sponsor Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Programs underwritten in part by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.
