Party Packages

Looking for a memorable birthday party or a private space for a special celebration? The Strong National Museum of Play offers unique party spaces and playful exhibit surroundings perfect for birthdays, engagements, graduations, anniversaries, family reunions, baby showers, and more. Celebrate life’s milestones in a setting your guests will love.

What’s Included in the Party Package

Private Party Space (1.5 hours)

Choose from the following time slots:

• 10:30 a.m.–12 p.m. (any day)
• 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (any day)
• 1–2:30 p.m. (any day)
• 1:30–3 p.m. (any day)
• 3:30–5 p.m. (Friday or Saturday)
• 4–5:30 p.m. (Friday or Saturday)

Package Includes:

• Museum admission for 10, 15, or 20 people (non-members)
• One ride per child on the train or carousel
• A dedicated museum host to assist your party

Pricing:

• $325 for 10 guests, $415 for 15 guests, and $505 for 20 guests
• Additional guests: $25 each for non-members
  • All guests (children 2+ and adults) require an admission ticket or must be a member
• Maximum room capacity: 40 guests

Party Add-Ons

Enhance your celebration with:

• Butterfly Garden tickets: $6 each
• Ralph Wilson Skyline Climb: $10 each
• Infinity Arcade tokens: 120 tokens for $25
• Costumed characters: A 20-minute visit from a Berenstain Bear (Mama, Papa, Brother, or Sister) for $50

Food & Beverage Guidelines

• Food may be ordered from the food court or Bill Gray’s.
• Hosts may bring store-bought food and refreshments.
• Catered food delivery (such as pizza) is permitted.
• Homemade food and alcohol are not allowed.
• Hosts must provide all paper goods (plates, napkins, cups, etc.).

Decorations

• Table-top decorations are welcome.
• The following are not permitted: balloons, piñatas, confetti, party poppers, wall decorations, or birthday candles.

Reservations & Payments

• Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
• Weekend reservations may be made on-line. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Weekday reservations may be made by contacting Debie Himmelsbach at 585-410-6332 or dhimmelsbach@museumofplay.org.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, a 50% refund will be issued. Parties may also be rescheduled to another available date. All cancellations or date changes must be made before the scheduled party.

*The museum is not available for political, religious, or fundraising events.
