Visiting the Play Pals Exhibit
I am going to visit the Play Pals exhibit at The Strong Museum.
Museum hosts will be wearing blue shirts, and some may wear a mask. I might see museum workers cleaning and smell cleaning supplies while I am visiting. I can help keep the museum clean, too, by cleaning my hands.
To visit Play Pals, I will go with my adult up the stairs, or we will take an elevator to the second floor. When I enter the exhibit, I may see other children playing.
I can play with toy dinosaurs and soldiers at the adventure table. Maybe I will visit the teddy bear check-up station and pretend to be an animal doctor. I can take turns with other children at the check-up table. If I want, I can check a stuffed animal in a scanner to make sure it is healthy. I can play a teddy bear operation game. The tools will make noises and flash lights when I play. I can go inside a play house. Inside the house I may like to take care of a baby doll, pretend to cook, or pick pretend flowers in the garden. I will keep all of the toys inside of the house.
Outside the house I can pretend to drive a car. The car has a button to honk the horn and another button to flash the car lights. If I want, my adult can sit next to me while I pretend to drive. If I want I can also play with Barbie dolls. I can use the Barbie house and garage.
I will stay inside the Play Pals exhibit with my adult until we are ready to leave together. I will have fun at the Play Pals exhibit.
