I am going to visit the ESL Digital Worlds: Level Up exhibit at The Strong National Museum of Play!
I will take the stairs or elevator with my adult to the second floor. We will walk past other exhibits where people are playing. People playing on the games might be excited and they may be loud while they play.
Outside of the exhibit, I will see a giant Donkey Kong arcade game with working controls. There may be other guests playing, and I will need to wait my turn if I want to play.
I will see museum hosts wearing blue shirts around the exhibit. If I need help with a game, or if it is broken, I can let a museum host know so they can fix it.
Before I go inside Level Up, a museum host will give me a soft wristband to wear. I will need this to play games and collect rewards.
Once I have my wristband, I take it over to the Avatar Creation Station, where I can scan my wristband and build my video game avatar.
I can explore the exhibit and play video games. Some of the games will have loud sounds or bright lights. Some games require throwing or jumping. Other people will be playing games, and I may have to wait my turn. I can watch others play while I wait.
I can scan my wristband at each activity to collect points, elements, and achievements!
When I am done playing, I will place my wristband in the bin by the exit. If I forget to take it off before leaving the exhibit, there is also a designated bin near the exit of the museum I can use, too.
I will stay with my adult, and we will have fun in Level Up!
