Visiting the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden

I am going to visit the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden at The Strong Museum.

On my way to the butterfly garden, I will pass lots of other exhibits and see other children playing. I will stay with my adult on the way to the butterfly garden.

When I enter the garden, a museum host will welcome me and show me a video. I will pay attention to the rules of the butterfly garden.

The butterfly garden will feel warm and bright. I will see lots of plants and hear lots of interesting sounds. I will see a waterfall and ponds with fish. The garden will smell like flowers and soil.

I will stay on the path and look at the butterflies and other animals in the garden. There are small birds called Button Quail running around the garden floor. I will be careful where I put my feet to keep the animals and butterflies safe!

I can look at the chrysalis case and see butterflies emerging and drying their wings.

When it is time to leave, I will stay with my adult and check myself in the mirrors for any butterflies. Butterflies need to stay in their garden home!

I will have fun visiting the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden.
