Planned Giving
Financial donors play a vital role in ensuring the stability of The Strong museum and its ongoing service to families, schools, and individuals. Planning now to make a deferred gift will help ensure that The Strong experience will be available to future generations.
Through foresight and generosity, individuals can work with the museum to fulfill long-term philanthropic goals while managing current tax situations. A deferred gift may also afford the opportunity to make a more significant gift than might otherwise be possible.
Planned gifts may be made using any of the following vehicles:
- Bequests
- Appreciated Securities
- Charitable Remainder Trust
- Charitable Lead Trusts
- Life Insurance Policies
It is important to consult with a financial advisor before making major financial decisions.
Donors should let the museum know if they have included The Strong in their estate plans so that museum leaders can express the institution’s gratitude and recognize them as members of the Woodbury Society, The Strong’s planned giving society.
