ROCHESTER, NY—From unicorns and rainbows, to an “egg-stra” hour for the littlest ones, March programming at The Strong offers plenty of opportunity to get out and play. The March schedule follows:

Unicorns and Rainbows

Learn about the science of rainbows with the Unicorn Prince and Princess and watch this royal duo conduct experiments that will have rainbows growing, fizzing, and foaming at noon and 1 p.m. daily. Learn how to connect a battery to an LED light with a paper circuit activity that will make your unicorn’s horn glow with the magic of science and engineering. Encounter a unicorn of the sea, Hercules, The Strong’s whitemargin unicornfish, with the museum’s biologist at 11:30 a.m.,12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Plus, make crafts inspired by unicorns and rainbows. Included with general admission fees.

Teeny Toys Egg Hunt—Egg-stra Hour
March 19, 9 to 10 a.m.

Delight in a special hour designed for toddlers! Grab an egg carton and hunt throughout the museum exhibits to find 12 different colored eggs. Find all 12 colored eggs and receive a prize! Hop over to meet Peter Rabbit. Create your own bunny ear headband. Scurry, twirl, and crawl through the bunny trail. Say hello to live chicks and bunnies, courtesy of CountryMax. Peter Rabbit Garden Party
