ROCHESTER, NY—Looking to work and play? Join The Strong National Museum of Play for its first-ever job fair from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 13. As The Strong gears up to open its 90,000-square-foot expansion this June, the museum is growing and looking to fill many roles, including guest services, environmental services, security, maintenance, ropes course operation, and more. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, including weekends only, with opportunities for year-round or summer employment. The job fair is open to anyone 16 years of age and older who’s a big kid at heart, and interested participants must register in advance at www.museumofplay.org/job-fair/
“With the museum growing, it’s never been a better time to join the team that makes The Strong one of Rochester’s premier cultural institutions,” says Lauren Rothfuss, director of human resources. “The Strong is an organization that loves to play, and our mission is advanced by our talented staff. The museum is a fun, welcoming, and collaborative organization that embraces inclusivity and is committed to making its facility, exhibits, and programs accessible to all.”
