December Family Programming Announced

The Strong is pleased to announce family programming for the month of December:

Royal Holiday
December 11 & 12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Join some favorite princesses as they celebrate winter and holiday traditions from around the world. Make a craft inspired by Scandinavian straw ornaments and build an ice block castle with the Ice Queen and Princess. Design a winter craft with Rapunzel. Help the Frog Princess set the symbols of Kwanzaa and cook for the Karamu Ya Imani. Sit down for a réveillon feast with Belle.Create constellations with the Island Princess and learn how Hawaiians identify the start of Makahiki. Then, use snowballs to fend off the Kakamoras. Make music, and dance to celebrate the new year with the Latina Princess.

Saturday only, enjoy preview performances of The Nutcracker by the NYS Ballet in the Paychex Theater, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Very Eric Carle School Break Week
December 23 to January 2, 2022

Jump, slither, glide, or crawl into the Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit before it leaves in January. All week long, play games and crafts inspire by Eric Carle’s Dream Snow book. Head over to the Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden for an Eric Carle scavenger hunt! (Additional fees apply for garden activities.)

Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit is presented in the Fidelis Care Gallery.

All activities are included with general museum admission fees.
