Volunteer
If you have a passion for play and two hours per week to give, please join us as a G2 volunteer! Volunteers commit to one play session at the same time each week and work with the same three children from early October through May. Play sessions happen at Rochester-area elementary schools and are supervised by a trained site coordinator. All volunteers undergo a background check, and The Strong Museum provides toys, games, and playthings for the sessions, along with trainings in child-directed play. All you need to bring is an open mind and a love for play!
