Play and learning go hand in hand as students conceptualize, design, and create an original computer game. Back by popular demand—and led again by programmer and game designer Ian Schreiber—Video Game Creation Workshop. Children aged 12-17 can enjoy a Video Game Creation Workshop that provides a window into STEM-based career fields and encourages a lifelong love of play. Over five sessions, participants will learn about game design and rules, visual art and animation, and audio to create their game. Previous programming or coding experience is not required. Tickets for five sessions: $138 (student only). Space is limited per session. Early registration is encouraged.
