Sensory Friendly Sunday

Enjoy The Strong during exclusive hours designed for children with special sensory, developmental, or physical needs. Explore the museum in a comfortable and accepting environment that features fewer guests, light and sound reduction, extra visual safety signage, and designated quiet areas that include sensory friendly toys. Enjoy a free visit to the relaxing Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, and free rides on the Strong Express Train.

Non-member Tickets

Member Tickets

Space is limited to 250 guests. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. Tickets are not refundable. Complimentary passes and member guest passes may not be used for these exclusive hours. Museum Social Stories are available to help you and your child familiarize yourselves with the museum and its exhibits before you visit.

Limited parking is available for this event on a first-come, first-served basis in the museum’s parking garage. Parking for this event is $5 for non-members and free for current museum members. The garage can be accessed from Howell Street on the south side of the museum.

*General museum admission is included with Sensory Friendly Sunday registration.
