Native American Man in traditional Attire

National Native American Heritage Month Celebration

Join us for a celebration of local Native American culture and heritage!

  • Watch an exciting performance of Haudenosaunee dance by local dancers Jordan Smith II and Mackenzie Mae Smith! Featuring local musician and historian Jordan Smith, learn more about the Haudenosaunee Confederacy’s culture of dance, music, and storytelling.

11:15am, Paychex Theater

 

  • Join Belinda Patterson, Haudenosaunee historian, to learn how to make cornhusk dolls and hear more about the Tuscarora people.

11am–2:30pm, Adams Atrium

 

  • Play a matching game and learn some words in the Anishinaabe language!
