“Come on Down!” The History of the Great American Game Show 

This presentation will cover the history of game shows in America, including their origins on radio, the panel shows and quiz scandals of the 1940s and 50s, the games and puzzles of the 1970s, and the classic games now in primetime. Learn about your favorite game shows, how The Strong is preserving their history at the National Archives of Game Show History, and our upcoming game show exhibit.
