Carol D. Simmons Storytime Club Logo with books and happy kids

Carol D. Simmons Storytime Club – Shake, Shimmy, and Dance!

Celebrate the joy of reading! Hear children’s stories read aloud on selected Mondays and be whisked away on literary adventures as part of the Carol D. Simmons Storytime Club at The Strong. Storytime Club Passports are punched once during each visit. Collect five punches and receive a free children’s book.

This month, get your dancing shoes on and enjoy stories all about music and movement!

Storytime Club is named in honor of Carol D. Simmons, a former children’s librarian in the Pittsford Central School District. The gift is made possible through the generous support of Harvey D. Simmons in the loving memory of his wife.

Storytime Club offers two sessions, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.!

When children pretend, they’re using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. A stick can be a magic wand. A sock can be a puppet. A small child can be a superhero.
