Celebrate the joy of reading! Hear children’s stories read aloud on selected Mondays and be whisked away on literary adventures as part of the Carol D. Simmons Storytime Club at The Strong museum. Storytime Club Passports are punched once during each visit. Collect five punches and receive a free children’s book.
Every family is unique! During December, join us for books that celebrate the joy of family and the ways we celebrate together.
Storytime Club is named in honor of Carol D. Simmons, a former children’s librarian in the Pittsford Central School District. The gift is made possible through the generous support of Harvey D. Simmons in the loving memory of his wife.
Storytime Club returns with two sessions, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m.!
Become a champion for play and help make a difference in the lives of the children and families who play, learn, and grow with The Strong.
When children pretend, they’re using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. A stick can be a magic wand. A sock can be a puppet. A small child can be a superhero.
Visit a highly interactive, collections-based museum devoted to the history and exploration of play.
