Create your very own MASTERPIECE while exploring the basics of acrylic painting and the cultural history of masks. Through his art, guest instructor Ya’qub Shabazz expresses his experiences growing up on Chicago’s South Side with constructive themes about world cultures and traditions. This workshop is intended for children and adults aged 8 and older. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 and the adult must purchase a ticket to the program. Admission is limited and requires pre-registration. This program is made possible with the generous support of the Guido & Ellen Palma Foundation.
