Join local artist Raashad Parker* for a hands-on workshop to learn the basics of printmaking using LEGO bricks. In this 90 minute workshop, participants will use LEGO bricks to create original works of art. This unique process provides a playful introduction to relief printmaking. Create imagery, experiment with ink, and print on a printing press! Two sessions are available: June 10 & June 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for members and $29 for members. (Non-member ticket prices include general admission for the full day.) This workshop is for children and adults, 6 years old and up. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 and must also register for the program. Admission is limited and requires pre-registration.
This program is made possible with the generous support of the Guido & Ellen Palma Foundation.

Become a champion for play and help make a difference in the lives of the children and families who play, learn, and grow with The Strong.
When children pretend, they’re using their imaginations to move beyond the bounds of reality. A stick can be a magic wand. A sock can be a puppet. A small child can be a superhero.
