LEGO® Travel Adventure
Opening Weekend Celebration
at the National Museum of Play®
January 19 & 20

Drive, fly, or sail in to the National Museum of Play® at The Strong® on Saturday, January 19, from
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. for the Opening Weekend Celebration for LEGO Travel Adventure
—a new interactive exhibit that allows kids of all ages to choose an amazing destination and build the perfect means of transportation to get there.

Set out for a weekend of LEGO® inspired fun! How fast can you change a race car tire? Challenge friends to change tires on a race car in record time at the Pit Stop. Stop to admire the intricate LEGO-brick train display by LEGO Users of Central New York, an adult club whose main focus is building trains and train displays entirely out of LEGO bricks. Kids can create a paper minifigure head to wear and enjoy other LEGO themed crafts.

Don’t miss the LEGO Travel Adventure exhibit, where you can enjoy colorful backdrops, kid-friendly building activities, and eye-popping LEGO brick sculptures by LEGO Master Builders. Stretch your creativity and build your own mode of transportation at stations brimming with LEGO bricks and LEGO DUPLO® bricks and vehicle accessories. Kids can pretend to fly above the clouds in the cockpit of a giant Travel Adventure Vehicle or hit the road in a child-sized race car made entirely out of LEGO DUPLO bricks. Amazing displays by LEGO Master Builders capture historic moments in transportation and famous landmarks around the world.

LEGO Travel Adventure remains on view at the National Museum of Play through May 12, 2013.     Produced by the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in cooperation with LEGO Systems, Inc. LEGO and the LEGO logo are trademarks of the LEGO Group ©2013 the LEGO Group. All rights reserved.
