Family Halloween Party
at the National Museum of Play
October 27 & 28

Toddler Trick-or-Treat October 31

Calling ghosts, ghouls, and goblins of all ages!

Don a spooky or creative costume and come to the National Museum of Play at The Strong® for two Halloween activities: a weekend family party and weekday trick-or-treating especially for preschoolers.

All witches, princesses, and comic book heroes are invited to the Family Halloween Party on Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, October 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. Enjoy the hilarious antics of Keith Leaf Amazing Juggler on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, be amazed by the magic of David Moreland at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. Win a prize at the Pirate’s Treasure Chest, and join in the Monster Mash and Halloween-inspired dances at the BOOgie-WOOgie Bash. Play ghostly games, get a temporary tattoo at the Tattoo Parlor, hear about your future at the fortune teller booth, and make Halloween crafts. Collect a healthy treat courtesy of the Democrat and Chronicle on your way out.

The littlest ghosts and goblins will enjoy safe indoor trick-or-treating during the National Museum of Play’s Toddler Trick-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come in costume and meet storybook favorites, including Cinderella, Tinkerbell, pirates, and more. Trick-or-treaters will also have a chance to meet Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, portrayed by renowned Dorothy Gale impressionist Elaine Horn. (Horn has worked with Judy Garland's son, Joe Luft, and has performed as Dorothy in venues around the country.) Dance to Halloween music, play party games, and create scary crafts. Check out the books in the Spooky Story Station and collect a healthy treat courtesy of the Democrat and Chronicle on your way out.

The Family Halloween Party and Toddler Trick-or-Treat are included with general museum admission fees.
