Opening Weekend Celebration
at The Strong® Museum
June 9 & 10
Enjoy out-of-this-world adventures at the Rockets, Robots, and Ray Guns exhibit opening celebration at The Strong museum on Saturday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. Take pictures with science-fiction characters, build a rocket, and check out the Rockets, Robots, and Ray Guns exhibit.
All weekend long:
- Say hello to a health care robot.
- Build a rocket out of recycled materials.
- Help robots transform to disguise their identities.
- Team up with a Martian to zap the bad guys.
Then check out the returning Rockets, Robots, and Ray Guns exhibit. Back by popular demand, the exhibit explores the ways that science fiction books, toys, movies, and video games have captured people’s imaginations and shaped the way they play. Play a giant version of the classic arcade game Space Invaders, check out the oldest toy ray gun ever created, direct a remote-controlled ball through an obstacle course, launch a paper rocket into the air, and more.
