Celebrating Diversity
at The Strong® Museum
January 15 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by Celebrating Diversity at The Strong museum on Monday, January 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Honor diversity through theater performances, presentations, and more.

Watch performances from Bright Star Theatre. Based in North Carolina, Bright Star Theatre is a nationally-recognized touring company that brings educational and historical plays to a variety of venues. At 12:30 p.m., watch African Folktales and learn about world cultures, literature, and the art of interactive storytelling. At 2:30 p.m., enjoy Jackie Robinson and discover how the Civil Rights Movement impacted sports through the experiences of the legendary baseball.

Delight in a special dance performance by Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, an organization that promotes Latin American cultural heritage through educational events.
