Kate Whitman Named
Grants and Foundation Relations Manager

at The Strong

The Strong® is pleased to announce that Kate Whitman has been hired as grants and foundation relations manager. In her new role, Whitman administers the museum’s grants program and cultivates relationships with foundations and government agencies to drive The Strong’s mission-driven goals. 

Whitman comes to The Strong from the University of Rochester, where she served as senior associate director in the Office of Annual Giving. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a master’s degree in administration from the University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education.

Whitman lives in Rochester with her husband and daughter.
