to The Strong Museum

ROCHESTER, NY—Happy Hour just got happier. Adults age 21 and older are invited to attend an evening of museum exploration and sci-fi adventure during the Happiest Hour at The Strong® museum on Wednesday, August 17 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The evening is presented by generous sponsors and The Strong Play Makers, a volunteer group of young professionals. All proceeds from this event support The Strong’s educational mission and community outreach programs.
Enjoy a sampling of bar-style snacks courtesy of Marshall Street Bar and Grill and cash bars featuring the local beers of Roc Brewing Co. while exploring two floors of interactive exhibits, including the new Rockets, Robots, and Ray Guns and The Force at Play. Make out-of-this-world arts and crafts; play science-fiction arcade games, including Star Wars Battle Pods and a giant version of Space Invaders; launch a paper rocket, and more. The evening also features a “Jedi” training camp presented by the Rochester Fencing Club, a grown-up foam dart battle courtesy of the Rochester Foam Dart League, a sci-fi costume contest, and a dance party with DJ Naps from BreakThrough Entertainment.
Admission is limited to guests 21 years of age or older. Please bring valid photo ID. Tickets must be purchased in advance at museumofplay.org for $15 (limited quantity available). Ticket sales are final and not refundable. Bar is cash only. An ATM is available on site. Parking is available in the museum lot on a first-come, first-served basis.
