From February 10–28

Calling all budding graphic artists! Use the museum’s collections as inspiration and submit an original design incorporating a toy or object of play into The Strong’s new wordmark as part of the Sketch With The Strong Wordmark Contest from February 10–28, 2014. Five winners will be chosen, and the grand prize winner will receive a museum membership and $100 shops gift card. Winners may see their entry appear in a museum display, in museum publications and advertising, on the museum’s website, or on signage around the museum.

Download the official Sketch With The Strong Wordmark Contest entry form at or pick one up at the museum near the Wegmans Super Kids Market exhibit from February 10–28. Design, draw, color, or paint a toy or play-related object in The Strong’s “O.” Then upload an image of your form to the museum’s Facebook wall and label it “Sketch With The Strong.” No mail, email, or hand-delivered entries will be accepted, and all submissions must
be original.

Museum staff will select the grand and honorable mention winners, and the other three winners will be determined by Facebook “likes”:

  • Grand prize: museum membership plus $100 museum shops gift card.
  • Honorable Mention prize: $50 museum shops gift card.
  • Three top “likes” prizes: $25 museum shops gift card.
