Best of the Brick Weekend
at the National Museum of Play®
April 27 & 28
Get in touch with your inner architect and celebrate all things LEGO® at the Best of the Brick Weekend at the National Museum of Play at The Strong® on Saturday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
- Race against the clock at LEGO build-a-thon sessions from 1 to 4 p.m. daily. Join with your friends and family and see what unique vehicles you can create before the buzzer goes off!
- Meet LEGO artist Greg Hyland from noon to 4 p.m. daily and get a one-of-a-kind drawing from the artist. Hyland has worked on a number of mini movies for LEGO’s Prince of Persia line, created storyboards for stop-motion LEGO Bionicle Stars movies, art for the LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants and Batman sets, and more.
- Construct amazing towers and other structures with LEGO DUPLO® bricks, and create a paper LEGO block to take home.
Don’t miss the LEGO® Travel Adventure exhibit (open through May 12) and pretend to fly above the clouds in a Travel Adventure Vehicle, hit the road in a child-sized racecar built entirely out of LEGO bricks, and make your own LEGO brick vehicle. Marvel at amazing sculptures and displays by master LEGO builders, and much more.
All Best of the Brick weekend activities are included with general museum admission fees.
