Meet the newest World Video Game Hall of Fame inductees during a celebration weekend from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Strong on Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9. Celebrate the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and the 25th anniversary of Pokémon—two World Video Game Hall of Fame inductees—with themed crafts and activities. Meet Link and Zelda and snap a photo. Assemble your Pokédex and search the museum to see if you can find the Pokémon. Test your slingshot skills in The Legend of Zelda practice range and make a Pikachu headband craft.
On Saturday only, check out a special PGA Tour 2K exhibition with Great Lakes Gaming, an RIT student start-up bringing professional competitive gaming events and live broadcasts. Also on Saturday, put your skills to the test with games provided by Playerz Zone while playing on one of their console systems (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Nintendo Switch) or experience their Alienware PC Loadout.
All activities included with general museum admission.
