Exhibit Opening Celebration
at The Strong® Museum
June 8 & 9
Swim in for the Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure! Exhibit Opening Celebration at The Strong museum on Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. Discover an underwater world, enjoy under-the-sea crafts, and more.
- Find out fascinating facts about fish in The Strong’s Rainbow Reef from a museum biologist and watch fish feedings.
- Learn about scuba diving with staff from the Aquatic Center of Rochester.
- Make a life-sized drawing of yourself as a marine explorer, mermaid, or sea creature.
- Share a story of an underwater adventure in the puppet play area.
Then check out the Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure! exhibit. Join brothers Chris and Martin Kratt, and their band of animal adventurers, to save the day. Put STEM concepts to use as you crawl through an anemone, explore a tidal pool, and hunt for lunch like a lobster. Also, roll up your sleeves and get to work at a shark-cleaning station, swim like a dragonish in the depths of the sea, create your own dolphin name, and steer the amphisub along the ocean floor in search of rarely seen creatures.
All Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure! Exhibit Opening Celebration activites are included with general museum admission fees. Programs underwritten by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.
Presented in the Fidelis Care Gallery at The Strong. Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure! produced by the Minnesota Children’s Museum and the Kratt Brothers Company. Kratt brothers do not appear in person during the exhibit run.
