Storytime Club

Celebrate the joy of reading! Hear classic children’s stories read aloud and be whisked away on literary adventures at Storytime Club at The Strong®  museum on select Mondays at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Receive a Storytime Club Passport and have it punched once during each visit. Collect five punches and receive a free children’s book! The Storytime Club spring schedule follows:

Mondays, April 4, 18 & 25—New Beginnings. Delight in vibrant stories that celebrate the beginning of spring.

Mondays, May 2, 16 & 23—Pet Tales. Enjoy books about pets of all kinds including dogs, cats, and birds.

Mondays, June 13, 20 & 27—Summertime Fun. Spring into summer with stories about sunshine, nature, and outdoor activities.

All Storytime Club programs are included with general museum admission fees.

Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6

Join in playful learning activities with your child at the Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6 series at The Strong museum. Designed by museum educators, this series helps parents teach little ones important skills through play. Programs take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. one Monday a month. Upcoming programs include:

Monday, April 11Things that Go. Fly, ride, or zoom in for a day of movement activities, stories, and imaginative play related to transportation. 

Monday, May 9—Let’s Move. Get moving with activities and games that promote healthy play and eating.

Monday, June 6—Garden Science. Explore the wonders of nature through stories and engaging hands-on activities about plants and seeds.

 Monday Kicks programs are included with general museum admission fees.

Museum Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

General Admission Fees (does not include admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®): age 2 and older $14, under age 2 free, members free.  

Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden: General Admission fee plus $3 for members, $4 for nonmembers, under age 2 free. Entry is by timed ticket only.

Parking: Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis during regular museum hours. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, additional parking is available at neighboring municipal garages for a fee. The Strong is not responsible for fees incurred at off-site locations.
