Enjoy a quiet and play-filled morning during Sensory-Friendly Sunday at The Strong museum on Sunday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to noon. Children with special sensory, developmental, or physical needs can enjoy the museum in a comfortable and accepting environment.
Explore the museum as it features fewer guests, light and sound reduction, extra visual safety signage, and designated quiet areas that include sensory friendly toys. Enjoy special story readings and take pictures with Peter Rabbit from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. only. Admission to the event also includes entry to the relaxing Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden before noon.
Sensory-Friendly Sunday is limited to 250 guests. Tickets are $11 for museum members and $16 for non-members. Registration is required. Visit the museum’s website to purchase your tickets. Programs underwritten by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.
Museum Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Parking: Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis during regular museum hours. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, additional parking is available at neighboring municipal garages for a fee. The Strong is not responsible for fees incurred at off-site locations.
