The Strong is pleased to announce that Mary C. Valentine, philanthropist and lead of the Mary Valentine and Andrew Cosman Trust, has been elected to the museum’s Board of Trustees. Valentine, now retired, has served in several roles throughout her career, including at the Children’s Hospital of San Francisco and Canine Companions for Independence in Santa Rosa, California.
Valentine has also served in several volunteer roles, including as the president of the Sonoma County Newcomers, as a member of the World Affairs Council Program Committee, and as a member of the philanthropy-based Impact 100. Valentine, originally from New York, now resides in Santa Rosa California.
