DESCRIPTION:Experience the magic of Dungeons & Dragons and The Strong Museum after closing time. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons as The Strong opens to adventurers for a special event. Bring your friends and continue your campaign\, start a new one\, or hop in a game with a new group of adventurers. Dress up as your D&D character\, create a magic potion\, visit artist stations and shop for D&D themed items\, and explore the museum’s newest exhibit\, Dungeons & Dragons: 50 Years of Storytelling! \n \nEvent open for ages 18+. Must show ID upon entry. \nThe full museum closes at 5 p.m. This after-hours event includes themed activities and the first floor of the museum\, including exclusive access to the Dungeons & Dragons: 50 Years of Storytelling exhibit. \nCostume props and accessories may be allowed as part of character cosplay but are subject to safety inspection and approval by museum staff. No functional or sharp-edged weapons allowed.

DESCRIPTION:Discover Dungeons & Dragons in small groups and take part in an adventure with experienced Dungeon Masters. No experience is necessary. The program includes 30 minutes of Q&A with the Game Mentor at the end and a free set of dice. \n \nThis workshop is for children and adults\, 8 years old and up. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 and must also register for the program. Admission is limited and requires pre-registration.
