Play and learning go hand in hand as students conceptualize, design, and create an original computer game. Video Game Creation Workshop is back by popular demand—and led again by programmer and game designer Ian Schreiber. Children ages 8–12 can enjoy a Video Game Creation Workshop that provides a window into STEM-based career fields and encourages a lifelong love of play. Over four sessions, participants will learn about game design and rules, visual art and animation, and audio to create their game. Previous programming or coding experience is not required.
Tickets for all four sessions: $118 (includes child and adult)
