Woodbury Preschool Parent Information Night January 17
at the National Museum of Play®

The National Museum of Play at The Strong® invites interested parents to learn about the museum’s unique preschool curriculum during a Woodbury Preschool Parent Information Night, Tuesday, January 17 at 7 p.m.  Parents will have an opportunity to tour the classrooms and meet the preschool staff. Reservations are not necessary.

Woodbury Preschool is inspired by the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy, which sees each child as a competent, resourceful, curious, and inventive learner. Small classes, specially designed classrooms, and a secure outdoor play space offer a comfortable environment for preschoolers. Set among the museum’s engaging, dynamic exhibits, the preschool also provides children the opportunity to explore fun learning environments with hands-on guidance. Early childhood teachers help foster children’s creativity and self-discovery through playful activities.

Families with children who will be three or four years old on or before December 1,

2012 are invited to apply for admission for the 2012–2013 school year via a lottery system. Information and applications for the lottery are available online (www.museumofplay.org), at the museum admissions desk, or by mail.

Applications will be accepted through February 1, 2012.
