In this episode of *Cocktails with the Creators, you’ll meet Jill Barad the first female Chairman and CEO of a Fortune 500 company, and former Chairman and CEO of Mattel Inc. You will hear firsthand how she successfully took Barbie from under $200 million to $2 billion in sales, and further established the Barbie Brand as an American icon. She purchased American Girl from Pleasant Company for Mattel and helped to open the first American Girl Store in Chicago. You’ll hear how she created the most successful female action character line, “She-Ra, the Princess of Power,” and how she used her leadership platform to establish Mattel’s philanthropy program.
