at The Strong
The Strong® is pleased to announce that Sara Poe has been hired as vice president for marketing and communications. In her role, Poe oversees the museum’s marketing, advertising, public relations, public program, membership, and information technology teams.
Poe joins The Strong from Tipping Point Communications—a media planning and buying, public relations, research, and digital media company—where she served as vice president for media and content. She previously held roles at Dixon Schwabl Advertising, Butler/Till Media, the Walt Disney Company, and Rochester Broadway Theatre League.
Poe holds an MBA from St. John Fisher College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester. She lives with her husband and two step-sons children in Victor.
