Fall 2016 Schedules
Celebrate the joy of reading! Hear classic children’s stories read aloud and be whisked away on literary adventures at Storytime Club at The Strong® museum on select Mondays at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Receive a Storytime Club Passport and have it punched once during each visit. Collect five punches and receive a free children’s book! The Storytime Club spring schedule follows:
Mondays, September 12, 19 & 26—New Beginnings. Enjoy heartwarming tales about trying new things and making friends.
Mondays, October 3, 17 & 24—Autumn Adventures. Delight in stories about outdoor play and the changing seasons.
Mondays, November 7, 14 & 21—Fun with Food. Gather around for stories about healthy eating and cooking.
Mondays, December 5 & 12—Holiday Joy. Celebrate the season with tales about traditions and treats.
All Storytime Club programs are included with general museum admission fees. Storytime Club programming sponsored by Genesee Valley Parent Magazine. Programs underwritten in part by Delta Air Lines, the official airline of The Strong.
Museum Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
General Admission Fees (does not include admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®): age 2 and older $14, under age 2 free, members free. Admission rates subject to change.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden: General Admission fee plus $3 for members, $4 for nonmembers, under age 2 free. Entry is by timed ticket only. Fees subject to change.
Parking: Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis during regular museum hours. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, additional parking is available at neighboring municipal garages for a fee. The Strong is not responsible for fees incurred at off-site locations.
