Search Tips

Quotation Marks—Enclosing a multiword phrase in quotation marks tells the search engine to list only sites that contain those words in that exact order.

The following must appear in ALL CAPS and with a space on each side.

AND—Indicates that the records found must contain all the words joined by the AND operator. For example, to find objects that contain the words wizard, oz, and movie, enter wizard AND oz AND movie.

OR—Records found must contain at least one of the words joined by OR. For example, to find objects that contain the word dog or the word puppy, enter dog OR puppy.

AND NOT—Indicates that the records found cannot contain the word that follows the term AND NOT. For example, to find objects that contain the word pets but not the word dogs, enter pets AND NOT dogs.

Perfect Sense: Riddles That Make Sense

board game

In 1971, brothers Fran and Bryce Patch started their own commercial printing company in Beloit, Wisconsin. They built their business by printing products for other companies, including Trivial Pursuit game boards and Cabbage Patch doll sticker books. The company built success upon success in the years following--both designing its own successful game line and acquiring other well-known brands and/or distributorships such as Smethport Specialty Co, known for its famous Wooly Willy toys and the Lauri brand (known for soft foam toddler puzzles.) Perfect Sense is the title of a recent successful Patch game, based on a system of clues to an answer printed on cards. The clues each pertain to one of the five senses, as in "I have no smell," and "The only rock you'll ever eat," relating to salt, which is the answer.
