Woodbury Preschool Parent Information Night
January 17 at the National Museum of Play®

The National Museum of Play at The Strong® invites interested parents to learn about the museum’s unique preschool curriculum during a Woodbury Preschool Parent Information Night, Thursday, January 17 at 8:30 p.m.  Parents will have an opportunity to tour classrooms and meet preschool staff. Reservations are not necessary.

Woodbury Preschool is inspired by the Reggio Emilia teaching approach, which sees each child as a competent, resourceful, curious, and inventive learner. Small classes, specially-designed classrooms, and a secure outdoor play space offer a nurturing environment for preschoolers. Set among the museum’s engaging, dynamic exhibits, the preschool provides children the opportunity to explore fun learning environments with hands-on guidance. Early childhood teachers help foster children’s creativity and self-discovery through playful activities.

Families with children who will be three or four years old on or before December 1,

2013 are invited to apply for admission for the 2013–2014 school year. Enrollment applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. New students will be notified of placement or waiting list status beginning February 14, 2013. Information and applications are available online at museumofplay.org/education/woodbury-preschool, at the museum admissions desk, or by mail. Applications may be requested by phone at 585-263-2700, Monday through Friday, between
8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
