February 11 & 12: Valentine’s Weekend with Tin Man
Have a heart! Spend Valentine’s Weekend with Tin Man at the National Museum of Play at The Strong® on Saturday, February 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, February 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Meet Tin Man and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and pose for pictures. Create a beautiful heart and other crafts for Valentine’s Day.
Then follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Wizard of Oz, the first-ever licensed traveling educational exhibit based on the beloved movie classic. Visitors of all ages are invited to come over the rainbow with Dorothy and Toto on a multi-sensory exploration of the colorful Land of Oz. Journey from the sepia-toned Gale Farm to the vibrant Emerald City and discover your own courage, heart, and wisdom, and experience the adventures of Dorothy and her friends as they find their way to true happiness.
All Valentine’s Weekend with Tin Man activities are included with general museum admission fees.
February 18–26: Fat Brain School-Break Week,
Fatten up your brain through play at the National Museum of Play at The Strong during Fat Brain School-Break Week from Saturday, February 18 through Sunday, February 26. Put on your thinking cap and challenge yourself with mind-expanding Fat Brain games and toys such as Twig, Animalogic, Reptangles, Hexactly, and Tri-Spy. Build amazing creations with Dado Cubes—a toy whose invention was inspired by The Strong’s National Toy Hall of Fame inductee, the cardboard box!
And don’t miss the new The Wizard of Oz exhibit, the first-ever licensed traveling educational exhibit based on the beloved movie classic. Come over the rainbow with Dorothy and Toto on an exploration of the colorful Land of Oz. Journey from the Gale Farm to Oz and explore Munchkinland, the Crossroads, the Witch’s Castle, and Emerald City before heading back over the rainbow. Along the way, discover your own courage, heart, and wisdom, and experience the adventures of Dorothy and her friends as they find their way back to true happiness.
All Fat Brain School-Break Week activities are included with general museum admission fees.

Admission Fees: General admission (does not include admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden®): Adults $13, Seniors $12, Children (2–15) $11, Children younger than two free, Museum members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden: General admission fee plus $2 for members; $4 for nonmembers; children under 2 free. Entry is by timed ticket only.
Parking: Free parking is available at the museum for all guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that, on high visitation days, the museum lot may reach capacity early in the day. If space is not available on site at the time of your visit, additional parking is available at neighboring municipal garages for a fee. The Strong is not responsible for fees incurred at off-site locations.
