School-Break Week in Munchkinland
at the National Museum of Play
April 6–15

Skip on over for School-Break Week in Munchkinland in conjunction with The Wizard of Oz exhibit at the National Museum of Play at The Strong® on Friday, April 6 to Sunday, April 15.

Create your own Munchkinland using a variety of colorful building materials, including BuilderBLOX and ZOOBS. Travel down the Yellow Brick Road to the Tent of 10,000 Tales and play dress up, recreating the story of The Wizard of Oz.

And don’t miss The Wizard of Oz exhibit, the first-ever licensed traveling educational exhibit based on the beloved movie classic. Come over the rainbow with Dorothy and Toto on an exploration of the colorful Land of Oz. Journey from the Gale Farm to Oz and explore Munchkinland, the Crossroads, the Witch’s Castle, and Emerald City before heading back over the rainbow. Along the way, discover your own courage, heart, and wisdom, and experience the adventures of Dorothy and her friends as they find their way back to true happiness.

The Wizard of Oz remains on view at the National Museum of Play through
May 13, 2012.

All School-Break Week in Munchkinland activities are included with general museum
admission fees.
