Announces Fall Literature Live Schedule
The National Museum of Play at The Strong announces the fall schedule for Literature Live. The continuing series invites guests to meet, greet, and pose for photos with beloved literary characters as they leap out of the pages of favorite storybooks on select Saturdays from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sundays from 1–5 p.m.
On the Literature Live fall schedule:
- September 8 & 9: Meet Little Nutbrown Hare, the lovable bunny.
- September 29 & 30: Meet Lilly, the purple-purse-toting mouse.
- October 13 & 14: Meet Stellaluna, the baby fruit bat.
- November 24 & 25: Meet Brother Bear from the Berenstain Bears books.
- December 1 & 2: Meet Frosty the Snowman from the popular song.
- December 8 & 9: Meet Dr. Seuss’s the Grinch and enjoy special story readings.
- December 15 & 16: Meet the Gingerbread Man from the classic fairy tale.
Continue the experience at home when you check out a book from the Literature Live story cart. Children’s books, at all reading levels, can also be found throughout the museum in book nooks housed among the exhibits. Books may be returned to the museum or at any Monroe County Library System branch. Don’t have a Monroe County library card?
