in conjunction with LEGO® Travel Adventure
at the National Museum of Play

Calling toy-brick builders of all ages! Enter the Best of the Brick: Build a Vehicle contest in celebration of LEGO Travel Adventure, a new interactive exhibit opening January 19 at the National Museum of Play. Build an original toy brick creation that transports your imagination across land, in the air, or by sea for a chance to win a $50 museum shop gift card. Winners will also receive a free family pass to the Best of the Brick Celebration Weekend at the National Museum of Play on April 27 and 28.

Submit a photo of your vehicle on the museum’s Facebook wall. Label your photo “Best of the Brick Driving Vehicle,” and include the age of the artist. No mail-in or email entries will be accepted.

Following are the categories and deadlines:

  • January: On Land—Driving Vehicles (Entry deadline: January 31)
  • February: In the Air—Flying Machines (Entry deadline: February 28)
  • March: On Sea—Seaworthy Vessels (Entry deadline: March 31)

Museum officials will select the photos that best represent each monthly theme. One winning photo will be selected from each category each month. Prizes may be awarded in each of three age groups: ages eight and younger; nine through 15 years; and 16 and older. Winners may see their photo appear in museum publications, on the museum’s website, and on signage around the museum. All submissions must be original: no kits, please.
