Berenstain Bears’ 50th Birthday Celebration
at the National Museum of Play®
Saturday, January 14
Join the party!
Meet the entire Berenstain Bears family—Mama, Papa, Sister, and Brother—and help them celebrate their 50th Birthday at The Strong’s National Museum of Play on Saturday, January 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At 11:30 a.m., enjoy a special reading of the Big Honey Hunt, the first Berenstain Bears book published in 1962. Sign a birthday card, make a party hat, and play party games including family trivia, a scavenger hunt, and Simon Says.
The day of activities kicks off a year-long celebration of the Berenstain Bears in conjunction with the Berenstain Bears: Down a Sunny Dirt Road exhibit. The bears will make appearances individually over eight weekends throughout the year.
Enter a monthly drawing for a chance to win a prize package featuring Berenstain Bears books and other unique items from the museum shops (ongoing through December 2012).
Don’t forget to visit Berenstain Bears: Down a Sunny Dirt Road, an original exhibit straight from the pages of the beloved books. Step into the playful world of the Berenstain Bears including Main Street, Bear Country School, Farmer Ben’s Farm, and Brother and Sister Bear’s Club Houses. Produced by the National Museum of Play in partnership with the Berenstain Family.
