Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6
Begins Fall 2006 Season
at Strong National Museum of Play®

Encourage young children to learn while having fun at Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6, a special series of programs presented by Strong National Museum of Play® one Monday a month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through May.

Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6 was designed by Strong educators to help parents teach young children through play using movement, song, music, reading, and other age-appropriate learning opportunities.

Following is the Monday Kicks fall schedule:
Monday, October 23: Under the Sea—Join performer Sarah Peters for music, drama, stories, and movement. Use costumes, props, and instruments to become a sea creature and create the sounds and sights of the ocean. Hear stories from the sea, go “fishing,” create a tissue paper aquarium, and contribute to a community whale mural.
Monday, November 20: A Gathering of Family and Friends—Join Mrs. McPuppet for a puppet show at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Draw a family tree, shop for a basket of food in Super Kids Market, make a friendship puzzle, and join a story circle of friends.
Monday, December 11: Playful Performers— Everyone is invited to get into the act! Join a performance with Crystal and Scooter of Just Clowning Around. Create a mask, don a costume, and become a performer on the Act Too Stage. Design your own puppet to take home.

All Monday Kicks activities are included with general museum admission fees.

Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Admission Fees
General Admission (does not include Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™):
Adults $9.00; Seniors $8.00; Children (2–17) $7.00; Children younger than two free; Strong members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™:
General Admission fee plus $3.00 per person for members and nonmembers; Children younger than two free.
Due to limited capacity, entry to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™ is by timed tickets only. Advance purchase is recommended. Please call 585-263-2700 to purchase timed tickets.
