Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6
Winter 2007 Schedule
at Strong National Museum of Play®

Enjoy playful learning activities with your child at Strong National Museum of Play’s Monday Kicks for Ages 2 to 6 series. Designed by Strong educators, this series helps parents teach little ones important skills through play. Programs take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. one Monday a month. Upcoming programs include:

Monday, January 22: Brrr! It’s Cold! It may be really cold outside, but there’s plenty of cool fun to be found inside! Create a snowman mural with friends, sing songs about snow, and play winter games. Learn what makes ice melt and plant a winter garden. Act out the story of The Mitten.

Monday, February 26: My Favorite Things Museum founder Margaret Strong loved to collect things. Create a special box for your “Favorite Things” collection and use a variety of art materials to make some unique collectibles of your own. Enjoy sing-alongs and stories, hunt for Margaret’s favorite dolls in the museum’s collections, and play games with classic toys from the National Toy Hall of Fame®.

Monday, March 19: Train Fun with Bill Mehls Choo, choo! All aboard! Sing train songs with “engineer” Bill Mehls and hear train stories. Join with your friends to make a human “train” and role-play a train ride in One History Place. Top it off with a ride on the Strong Express Train (50 cents per person).

All Monday Kicks programs are included with general museum admission fees.

Admission Fees
General Admission (does not include Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™):
Adults $9.00; Seniors $8.00; Children (2–17) $7.00; Children younger than two free; Strong members free.
Admission to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™:
General Admission fee plus $3.00 per person for members and nonmembers; Children younger than two free.
Due to limited capacity, entry to Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden™ is by timed tickets only. Advance purchase is recommended. Please call 585-263-2700 to purchase timed tickets.
