Handprint Tiles

Handprint tilesCharming “handprint” tiles adorn entryway walls in the National Museum of Play®. These tiles serve as a lasting impression of children’s enjoyment of the museum and of parents, grandparents, and others’ financial support of quality educational experiences for families and children.

Museum members can purchase tiles to display their children’s handprints. Children will enjoy seeing the tile every time they visit the museum and will have fun measuring their growth by comparing the size of their hands to the size of their handprints.

Handprint tiles may be purchased for $150. Each tile includes one child’s handprint, name, and age in one of five available colors. Each additional tile is $75. Only one child’s name and handprint can be accommodated per tile.

Not a museum member? A contribution of $225 includes a first tile and a one-year Family- or Grandparent-level membership. Each additional tile is $100.

Take-home tiles

“Take-home” tiles make great keepsakes and can be purchased for an additional $50 contribution per tile. Tiles make a thoughtful gift for parents and grandparents.
